Episode 66. Experiencing the World through Soundscape with Jarnail Chudge and Amos Miller
My friends, have you ever just opened an app and are able to see so much potential for it but are not entirely sure how you can utilise the app to the fullest? Does any app come to mind? If not, you’re in for a treat!
We are so excited to be bringing this week’s episode to you guys where we have two guests, Jarnail Chudge and Amos Miller, who are app developers for this incredible app called Soundscape. Jarnail is a design and innovation architect in the Enable Group at Microsoft Technology and Research. Amos is a product strategist at Microsoft AI and Research. Both Jarnail and Amos have been working hard to design and develop technologies that can provide more accessibility, mobility, and empowerment to people while also adding value to their lives but in a sustainable way.
Soundscape is an app that uses 3D spatial audio to create audio augmented reality in order to help users increase their spatial awareness. The interesting thing about how Soundscape is developed and how it’s different from other apps is that Soundscape is specifically designed to be descriptive, instead of being prescriptive, leaving the users to make their own decision. This is something that is very rare amongst apps nowadays.
There’s so much more to Soundscape and I can’t wait for you to dive right into the episode and get the best out of it! Come on now and join us!
