Welcome to Allied Independence, LLC.

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Allied Independence, LLC.'s Websites, Professional Development Portal, and all products associated with Allied Independence.

By purchasing these products, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full.

Do not continue with your purchase of Allied Independence, LLC.'s Course if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements:

“Client”, “You”, “Your”, and “Registrant”  refers to you, the person making the purchase and all participants registered for any Course provided by Allied Independence.

“The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company, Allied Independence, all presenters contracting with Allied Independence, and any volunteers working on behalf of Allied Independence.   

“Course” refers to any product offered by Allied Independence, LLC.

“Presenter”, “Guest Expert”, or “Teacher” refers to the individual teaching the class during any Course.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United States.

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Registration Policy

All registrants must register within the appropriated Registration period for any Course. Registration will not be permitted after the registration period closes or the maximum number of participants has been reached.

Payment Policy

Registrants are ultimately responsible for payment rendered, whether or not the registrant attends or completes the Program.

If there is an associated fee for a Course, you may pay by check or credit card. Cash will not be accepted.

All invoices and confirmations will be sent via email to the Contact email address listed at check out. If your fee is being paid for you by a supporting agency or school district, please forward your email to the appropriate person immediately so that payment may be processed.

In order to accept a discounted rate, the Registrant must be 100% a part of the intended demographic. i.e. “Student” rate refers to Registrants must be enrolled full time in a University or Vocational Professional Preparation Program. “Developing Country” rates apply to those who live full time in a country designated as a Developing Country or “Least Developed Country” by UNCTAD on their website.

Registrants with unpaid balances will not be eligible to receive CEU credit for any program held by Allied Independence until their payments are made in full, including the late fee.

Refund Policy

All refund requests must be made within the time frame set forth as described on each Course webpage.

For the International Orientation and Mobility Online Symposium, all refunds must be requested in writing by emailing Customer Support at theteam@alliedindependenceonline.com by December 1st. Refund requests after this date will not be honored.

Refunds paid by credit card: Refunds of 97% of the registration price will be issued back to the card that was used as payment within two weeks of the written request. The 3% processing fee is non-refundable due to the stipulations of our payment processor.

Refunds paid by check: A check for 100% of the registration price will be mailed to the issuer of the check within two weeks of the written request.

The following events do not constitute a reason for a refund after the refund request deadline

Cancellation of any presentations, presenters, or material

Inability to attend presentation sessions at their presented times

Inability to access materials or presentations

Illness, Acts of God, Weather, or any other reason.

For TVI Online Symposium, if for some reason you can’t use the certificate for your accreditation but have already watched the presentations, please let us know and we will give you a 50% refund.

For Clarity Subscription, since the subscription consists of monthly downloads, we can not give a refund for the month that you already paid for. You are welcome to cancel at any time. You will be granted access to Impacting Independence for the duration of your Clarity membership. If you cancel your Clarity membership, your access to Impacting Independence will be revoked. 

Invoices/ Pay by Check

If your fee is being paid for you by a supporting agency or school district, please forward your email to the appropriate person immediately so that payment may be processed. Until the fee is paid by the agency or school district, the Registrant is liable for the payment.

All checks must be made payable to Allied Independence, LLC. and mailed to Kassandra Maloney at 2028 E BEN WHITE BLVD #240-7916, Tx. 78741. Purchase Orders must be received within 30 days of registration. Payment is then due within 60 days of the first day of the Symposium. Payment must be rendered in full whether or not the registrant receives a certificate of completion. If payment is received after the deadline, a late fee of $50 will be applied to the balance on each registrants’ account.

If registration is not paid within 61 days of the Symposium, the registrant may be suspended from enrolling in any future Course offered by Allied Independence, LLC and/or may have their registration within their current Course revoked without refund.

Reservation of Rights

Allied Independence, LLC. in its sole discretion and at any time, reserves the right to cancel or refuse from any Registrant, agency, or Client the registration and participation of and in any Course. This includes but is not limited to:

Use of the Allied Independence Professional Development Portal.

Content pertaining to any Course.

Continuing Education Credits/Units.

Content Rights and Liability

We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing in any Course. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your interpretation of any content received.


No link(s) or content may appear on any page or social media within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libelous, slanderous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

Allied Independence, LLC. retains the copyrights to all content offered through any Course. Registrants may use the content for personal use only.

Registrants are prohibited from

redistributing content to any other party.

misrepresenting content from any Course.

creating slanderous material to represent the content received in any Course.

Liability Disclaimer

Allied Independence, nor any of it’s employees, or volunteers assume the responsibility of any content delivered through any Course.

Allied Independence, nor any of it’s Presenters, employees, or volunteers are responsible for the travel skills or safety of any person instructed using techniques offered in any Course.

Allied Independence is not responsible for the future teachings of any Registrant from content gathered in any Course.

Cookies

We employ the use of cookies. By using Allied Independence, LLC.'s Website or enrolling in Courses you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with Allied Independence, LLC.’s privacy policy. Most of the modern day interactive websites use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of this area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate / advertising partners may also use cookies.

Unless otherwise stated, Allied Independence, LLC. and/or it’s licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on all websites and Courses owned by Allied Independence, LLC.. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view and/or print pages from any websites or Courses owned by Allied Independence, LLC. for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

Sell, rent or sub-license material from any websites or Courses owned by Allied Independence, LLC.

Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from any websites or Courses owned by Allied Independence, LLC.

Redistribute content from Allied Independence, LLC. (unless content is specifically made for redistribution).

Misrepresent any content from any courses provided by Allied Independence, LLC.
