Episode 34. Bringing an In-Person Event Online. The good, bad, ugly

See this content in the original post

Doing an in-person event online is an efficient way to bring everyone together to learn about and discuss issues, ideas and work that focus on a topic of mutual concern.

Our company hosted one for an association and we had a blast!  But it wasn't all unicorns and rainbows. My perfectionism wasn't a hobby at some points. I definitely had moments where I had to remind myself and our team that we are going through what Brené Brown calls an FFT  (Effing First Times).

And I say this as a reminder that sometimes unforeseen, unexpected and pretty unwelcome circumstances in that moment turn out to be the best thing. You probably couldn't even imagine the good stuff that would come from it. So as we move forward today, I'm going to be pulling back the curtains and sharing all of the details from bringing an in person conference online. The good, the bad and the ugly!
